THE FINAL DAY...
If you thought you needed cheering up after the 'other' England's performance, then the 'real' England Lions came good in baking conditions at Merida. With a slight advantage coming into the day, Team Drennan England held of a strong challenge from Italy.
Again temperature soared to 40°, but England didn't falter... only a slight wobble in C section caused some concern, but true to this England team spirit, they kept their nerve and their reward came.
It was close though, Italy pulled 3pts back of a 5.5pts deficit, while the Netherlands did even better. A full section-by-section results sheets and full team and individual classifications is below.

We have now uploaded the first two video interviews of Steve Gardener and Will Raison, along with joint England managers Mark Downes and Mark Addy.
We have now upload the videos of the individual and team Presentation Ceremonies, that were held in Merida, and Ireland once more have their second individual podium finisher in two years. There's also a rampant flag-totting Mark Addy let loose on a stage of dignatories... who then gets into trouble (again) with the FIPS President !!!
